Candlemas Mystical Drumming Ceremony is a sacred gathering to celebrate the growing light and to amplify our own inner radiance. Candlemas, observed on February 2nd, is a time of renewal and purification, marking a point where we begin to notice the increasing light as winter gradually gives way to spring.
I just love this time of the year, there is a special light, the light of renewal and rebirth. It is a moment of faith and hope for what is to come.
Candlemas, rooted in both Christian and Pagan traditions, is a festival that celebrates the incremental return of the light after the darkest days of winter. In the Christian liturgy, Candlemas is known as the Feast of the Presentation of Yeshua and the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It commemorates the presentation of Yeshua at the Temple and is symbolized by the blessing and lighting of candles, representing Christ as the light of the world.
In Pagan traditions, particularly within Celtic spirituality, this day is celebrated as Imbolc, a festival marking the beginning of spring. It is associated with the goddess Brigid, later transformed into Saint Brigid in Christian times, and celebrates the awakening of the earth and the earliest stirrings of new life.
In this special online event, we will experience together that our voices, when aligned with the true frequency of our Soul Essence, have the power to manifest the presence of the Holy Spirit. Our voices are not just instruments of communication but are powerful channels for spiritual energy and transformation.
During the ceremony, we will dive deep into Aramaic Shamanic Drumming, specifically designed to awaken the Flame of Desire within us. This rhythm is a vibrational tool that helps awaken what lies lie dormant within our souls.
We will also learn and practice an ancient Aramaic prayer song, a profound chant for purification. This prayer song is a gateway to cleansing our spirit, allowing us to shed the remnants of the old and embrace the renewed energy that Candlemas brings. It serves as a means to purify our thoughts, intentions, and actions, aligning us more closely with our higher selves and divine purpose.
The combination of drumming and ancient prayer in this ceremony creates a powerful synergy. The drumming grounds us and connects us to the earth, while the prayer song elevates our spirit, creating a harmonious balance between earthly and spiritual energies.
We will also be inviting Goddess Brigit to this Holy Ceremony. Jennifer Ramsey, Druid Priestess and Founder of Story Arte, will be offering Sacred Story Telling for Imbolc at the end of our Ceremony.

Please have 2 white candles with you that we will activate and bless together. The first white candle represents the gratitude for the reception of the Light. The second candle will receive a special Activation Prayer so you can Light.

In the teachings of the Desert Rose it is not enough to believe that we are sparks of the divine light; for then we are still but sparks. We must become lights. A spark merely abides in itself; it does not give forth any useful light or warmth. A flame, on the other hand, shines out in light and warmth for others, yet the light that shines out also allows us to perceive and so receive consciousness of those things that were obscured by the darkness. We become lights through an increase of consciousness, consciousness of our connection with the Divine Reality that we are part of and come from.

Ana Otero is a Doctor in Dance Movement Therapy, Mystic, Dancer, Author, Yogi, Artist, and a Teacher of the Magdala-Christ Lineage Transmissions. Her love for the Aramaic language is profound and woven into the fabric of her work and teachings.
In 2011, Mary Magdalene appeared in her life. This connection, fortified by apparitions and channeled messages, led her to commit her life to spiritual exploration and growth.

These languages, rich in spiritual history and significance, further enhance the mystical allure of her musical compositions.
Ana Otero loves teaching, offering various training programs, workshops, and retreats.
