Lent is a sacred period of inner transformation, marking the 40 days Yeshua spent in the desert after his baptism by Yohanan, a time of deep initiation, where he entered the silence of the wilderness to prepare for the calling of his ministry. The number 40 carries great significance, as it is the gematria of the Aramaic - Hebrew letter Mem, associated with water, creation, unity, purification. This letter also represents the flow of the unconscious and the transformative power of the divine that cleanses and reprograms the mind, body, and spirit.
Like Yeshua in the desert, we are invited to surrender, to listen, to be purified in the waters of Mem, and to reawaken to the divine flow within us. In the silence, we are transformed. In the stillness, we remember. And when the journey is complete, we emerge renewed, ready to embody the light we were always meant to carry.
