DMT Ritual Movement® incorporates the principles, theory and philosophy of Dance Movement Therapy, Sacred Sound and Drumming, with the teachings of the Desert Rose.
Everything is stored in our bodies, all of our experiences, all of our past lives, what we carry in our lineage, and so much more. Dancing is medicinal. Dancing is expression, dancing will totally change your relationship with your body, your communication, your manifestations and your confidence.
Finding a home again in the body is part of the soul´s journey. It can be a hard journey especially when we feel painful memories lodged in our bodies, which awaken when we begin to move more freely and naturally. Soon this is liberated and we become emptied.

Ecstatic Prayer - Magdalene Consciousness - Northern Star
DMT Ritual Movement provides an immersive journey of cosmic integration, inviting participants into a wondrous realm wherein the Tree of Life interweaves with the vibrant Cosmic Intelligence. This journey is propelled by the potent practices of intentional dance - movement and Alaha Shela Sacred Embodiment, stirring an awakening within us that illuminates our understanding of the universe and our place within it.
Our exploration ventures through the ethereal Seven Chambers of Light, representing the chakra system intricately mapped within our physical forms. This journey expands our consciousness and nurtures a profound connection with the cosmic intelligence, an eternal bond that inspires us to engage in the co-creation of our existential narrative with renewed vigor.
Through this transcendental journey, we cultivate a sacred dance that breathes within our hearts, gestures, and bodies. As we integrate knowledge and understanding derived from this cosmic ballet, the universe unfurls itself as a 'living organism' within our very being.
This month´s workshop sessions is inspiried by The Woman of Light.
Râbi'a al-Basri, also known as Râbi'a al-'Adawiyya, was a female Muslim saint and Sufi mystic who is highly esteemed within Sufism.
She was born around 714 CE in Basra, Iraq, during the Umayyad Caliphate, a time when the Islamic Empire was still relatively young. Râbi'a is remembered as one of the earliest and most influential figures of Sufism, specifically of the love mysticism or divine love strain within Sufism.
Râbi'a's life was marked by hardship and poverty. Legend holds that she was orphaned at a young age and subsequently sold into slavery. However, she was eventually freed and chose to live a life of Mystical Union, which is really the intention of Sufism.
She was known as the Woman of Light, the embodiment of the Infinite Light of the Feminine. Stories through oral tradition say that when people came close to her, they would heal sickness and even have strong mystical experiences.
The following poem is one of her most famous poems:
In love, nothing exists between heart and heart.
Speech is born out of longing,
True description from the real taste.
The one who tastes, knows;
the one who explains, lies.
How can you describe the true form of Something
In whose presence you are blotted out?
And in whose being you still exist?
And who lives as a sign for your journey?
This poem speaks to the ineffable nature of divine love and presence, a common theme in Râbi'a's attributed work and Sufi poetry in general. Her poems often revolve around the themes of love and longing for the divine, emphasizing an intense and personal relationship with Alaha. Râbi'a was significant in placing love at the center of Sufism, shaping it as a path of intense devotion and intimate communion with the soul and ultimately with the divine.
This month the theme is Sufi Mysticism and Magdalene Light Consciousness, and our guide is Rabi´a, The Woman of Light.
We will dive into very powerful Sufi breath and movement meditations, connect with our intentional holistic movement, and start, at a very easeful pace, the spiritual practice of whirling. We will also go deep into Sufi Drumming and chanting.
This sessions will awaken our North Star, the North Node, and our Divine Mission, mirroring the celestial journey of self-discovery.

In our June session, we will dive into the divine teachings of ecstasy expressed through Dance as Prayer and the rhythmic ritual of Sufi Drumming. Accompanied by the practice of Sufi vocal meditations, we seek to liberate the voice and allow the Amrita nestled in our throat chakra to permeate our entire body. Through our movement we will understand how the Magdalene Consciousness guides us into awakening and manifesting our Divine Mission.

Dancing brings us into completeness, healing the past, co-creating the future.
As we release our true colours through our movement we access a universal language that transcends words and therefore language barriers. We are taken from the invisible into the visible realm. Dance embodies the Kingdom. Dance enables us to connect with ourselves, with others, and makes our hearts beat together as one.
No Dance Experience is required as this session can be for professional dancers or for those of you who want to start moving your bodies with awareness.

Dance Movement Therapy
I started dancing at the age of three, this was how I spoke to the Divine. I later went on to pursue dance professionally, receiving my PHD in Dance Movement Therapy. My true study of sacred movement happened when I lived in the Middle East for many years, and I was gifted the blessings of studying with the Sufis, the Sacred Traditions of Indian Dance, Egyptian Dance, the Essene technique of Healing and Egyptian Energy Medicine. I also was blessed with learning Flamenco with the Gypsies in Granada. Movement is Prayer, Movement is Medicine, Movement is Remembrance, Movement is a Language of the Soul.

In our sessions in 2023 we will experience Cosmic Harmoy with the Planets, Stars and Heavenly Light, understanding these teachings within the Teachings of the Desert Rose.
